What's required to use Logic Hop?
To use Logic Hop you’ll need either a Site License or an optional Data Plan.
Logic Hop requires WordPress version 4.6 or higher and PHP version 5.4 or higher.
Logic Hop works does not work with sites hosted on WordPress.com or WordPress.com VIP.
Can I use Logic Hop with multiple domains?
Yes! Site licenses are available for single, ten or one hundred domains.
With an optional Logic Hop Data Plan your API Key will work across multiple domains and any sub-domain thereof.
Each domain will have its own set of data and cookies for individual users. Data is not shared cross-domain. You Monthly Visitor count will be measured across all domains in use.
Does my staging or environment count as an additional site?
Yes. Each domain is considered an individual site and a requires its own license key to use Logic Hop.
For example stage.logichop.com and logichop-stage.wpengine.com would count as two sites – Either a Professional License or Agency License could be used.
With an optional Logic Hop Data Plan your API Key can be used on an unlimited number of sites.
Logic Hop tracks a lot of data points, will this overrun my WordPress database?
Absolutely not! Logic Hop is streamlined for performance. Each visitor is represented by a single database record. Automatic data recycling keeps only the necessary data and removes expired records. You can also opt to bypass data storage entirely.
Want to let us handle data storage? With an optional Logic Hop Data Plan, all page, goal and tracking data is stored in our blazing-fast, secure Amazon Web Services databases with no data stored on your server or in your WordPress database.
Can I Upgrade My Site License?
Yes! If you purchase a Basic or Professional License you can upgrade your license at any time.
You’ll simply need to pay the difference which will pro-rated based on the amount of time left on your license.
Do I Need a Monthly Data Plan?
Absolutely not! With a site license all data is stored in your WordPress database.
Monthly Data Plans are 100% optional and not needed with a site license.
Who Should Use a Monthly Data Plan?
Monthly Data Plans are recommended for high-volume websites that receive a large amount of traffic.
Data plans provide remote storage and lookups for Logic Hop data using our extremely fast, load balanced servers and high-capacity multi-region database.
Can I change my monthly data plan?
Yes! You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your data plan at any time.

Can Logic Hop track users across devices?

Will Logic Hop still work if my site license expires?
No! Site licenses are renewed on an annual basis and while your license is active you’ll receive plugin updates and customer support.

Monthly visitors are calculated based on the total number of visitors your site receives each month.
A great way to check is with Google Analytics or by running your domain name through ‘get insights’ tool at SimilarWeb.
What happens if I exceed my monthly visitor allocation?
With a site license you have unlimited monthly visitors – There’s no maximum!
If you’re using an optional Data Plans we fully understand traffic surges and unexpected visitors. If you exceed your monthly visitor allocation, Logic Hop will continue to function. We’ll evaluate and based on the traffic, we may ask that you upgrade to a more suitable plan.

How does Logic Hop store user data?
Logic Hop stores user data and activity for the user’s current session. Data is available as the user interacts with your website and remains accessible until their session expires – Typically when the user closes their browser, or after a few hours of inactivity.
Optionally, you can choose to store temporary Logic Hop data as WordPress Transients. This is useful for hosting environments that don’t support PHP Sessions.
With a site license, and if data storage is enabled, data is stored in the Logic Hop table on your WordPress database for the length of time specified in your settings. All data is fully anonymized and no personally identifiable data is ever stored in your WordPress database.
With an optional Data Plan, data is stored in the Logic Hop secure Amazon Web Services database for the length of time indicated by your plan. All data is fully anonymized and no personally identifiable data is ever stored in the Logic Hop database.
What are Add-on Integrations?
Add-on Integrations are plugins that extend Logic Hop to provide functionality for third-party services such as Elementor, Beaver Builder, Gravity Forms, Google Analytics, and WooCommerce.
All add-ons are included with any Logic Hop plan.
